Rachel Secrest is originally from Carmel, Indiana, where she grew up training under Suzann DeLay. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program with degrees in Dance and Political Science. She has worked as an apprentice for River North Dance Chicago, as well as Parsons Dance. In 2017, she joined Jessica Lang Dance as a company member for three seasons. She has also performed as a Principal Dancer is Washington National Opera’s production of Aida. Rachel has been collaborating with Omar Román De Jesús since 2014 and is excited to continue her journey with the company.
