Lissa Smith was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from New World School of the Arts High School. She attended The Boston Conservatory with the Dance Conservatory Scholarship and Jan Even Dance Scholarship. Lissa danced with Hubbard Street 2 and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has performed nationally and internationally on tour. She won the prestigious “Arts For Life!” Dance scholarship, presented by former First Lady Columba Bush. Lissa was awarded the Young Professional Award from the Martha Hill Dance Foundation and The School at Jacob’s Pillow. She currently dances with Caterina Rago Dance Company, Abarukas, and is so honored to be working with Boca Tuya.
